A true sky knight

There is something indescribably irresistible and exciting when we think about pilots…

A pilot is an archetype of masculinity, chivalry, power, and strength, of a person who always has control and is an epitome of #DontCrackUnderPressure motto.

Are all those movie pilots to be blamed for our affinity towards guys who cruise the skies? That’s something which is yet to be found out, but one thing is for sure – our knees tremble in front of pilots!

It doesn't matter if it's all a fantasy or we're lucky to be acquainted with the magic of adventure when a boyfriend suddenly takes us on a solo flight to the unknown by plane. The moment of separation from the ground is indescribable and almost metaphorical, something like a life-changing earthquake in which we are literally losing our feet.

Times may have changed, but the uniform as a fetish has survived, and we still fantasize about the "Officer and Gentleman" who will "launch" us into heaven, literally. At the very first glance at the pilot's jacket and aviator glasses, many ladies getting heartwarming in the hope that he is THAT guy who drives the plane, that he may be the ONLY noble knight of heaven, who will "take stars out of the sky" for you...

Nevertheless, don't let the look fool you. The guy in front of us can be just a wannabe pilot, falsely presenting himself, with the hope of making his appearance as good as possible. Top Gun jacket and the famous Ray-Ban glasses are worth nothing when we realize that someone impersonated, and that "what was in the store window does not exist in the store."

Nevertheless, one thing will reveal the true lover of flying!

When he is with us - he has all the time in this world. No matter the fact he may be flying an exciting adventure across the Atlantic in just an hour, he will not nervously look at his TAG Heuer chronograph, waiting anxiously for us to end the conversation so he can clear up as soon as possible.

Because in the air, it's all a matter of good timing: whether it's estimated takeoff and landing times, fuel tanking times, or timing when it decides to settle down right next to us.

Let's throw away all the metaphors and dive into the world of AUTAVIA chronograph watches, the most significant and probably the most important detail that reveals the true knight of the sky before us.

In 1933, Heuer designed the first racecar and aircraft counter: the Autavia chronograph. The name was a combination of the words AUTomobile and AVIAtion, which is as ingenious as the temporal functions of the model.

Three decades later, in 1962, Jack Heuer, the fourth generation of Heuer's in the company, created his first sports wrist chronograph. Its innovative signature: rotating crown... The name Autavia was born again with this new, complete and wide range.

To date, numerous editions have been extremely successful, and have remained among the most sought after chronographs among collectors.

Therefore, dear ladies, when you see the Autavia chronograph on the wrist of the hand of a man you like, there is no doubt that the King of Skies stands before you.
