In a world where the boundaries between haute horology and high jewelry continue to dissolve, Jacob & Co. marks its 40th anniversary with an innovation that reshapes both disciplines.

At the heart of this milestone are two defining elements: the newly patented Angel Cut diamond and the extraordinary Billionaire Double Tourbillon—together forming one of the most striking luxury statements of 2026.

The Angel Cut is more than a technical achievement; it is a deeply personal creation. Developed over several years in-house, the cut draws inspiration from Jacob Arabo’s personal story. Named after his wife Angela, the diamond features 37 facets—symbolically reflecting their enduring relationship.

Unlike traditional cuts, the Angel Cut introduces a new dimension of light. Its carefully balanced crown height and pavilion depth maximize brilliance and return of light, resulting in a diamond that appears deeper, more vivid, and visually dynamic—especially in its distinctive rectangular form.

This innovation finds its ultimate expression in the Billionaire Double Tourbillon, a timepiece that transcends conventional watchmaking and enters the realm of wearable art. Crafted in white gold and measuring 54 x 41 mm, the case is adorned with 98 Angel Cut diamonds, while the entire watch features an astonishing 298 stones totaling approximately 79 carats.

Yet beyond the impressive numbers lies a more compelling narrative. Here, diamonds are not mere embellishments—they define the watch’s identity. The dial, also set with stones, frames two open tourbillon mechanisms, creating a visual composition that balances technical mastery with unapologetic opulence.

Beneath this brilliance lies the JCAM50 caliber, a hand-wound movement composed of 460 components. Two flying tourbillons, positioned at 12 and 6 o’clock, represent the pinnacle of horological complexity, while the skeletonized architecture reveals the intricate choreography of the mechanism in motion.

Limited to just 18 pieces and priced at approximately $3.4 million, this model is far more than a luxury object—it is a declaration. It represents a new chapter for the brand, where innovation, personal storytelling, and extreme exclusivity converge.

In an era where luxury increasingly demands authenticity and distinction, Jacob & Co. once again asserts its position at the forefront. The Angel Cut is not simply a new diamond cut—it is a new way of understanding light, material, and the very essence of prestige.
