At a time when haute horlogerie naturally intertwines with contemporary lifestyle, the Faubourg de Cracovie “Crossroads” Victory Green chronograph by Czapek & Cie stands out as a statement of refinement. Limited to just 18 pieces worldwide, this timepiece is not merely a keeper of time, but an ode to versatile sporty elegance and technical virtuosity—deeply rooted in the Maison’s 19th-century heritage, yet shaped by a modern, cosmopolitan spirit.

“From marathon to evening wear, this chronograph transcends every occasion,” notes Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO of the brand.

Crafted from 316L surgical steel with a 41.5 mm case, the watch strikes a perfect balance between robustness and sophistication. Every detail is intentional: the lugs and case flanks are delicately sandblasted, while the chronograph pushers are seamlessly integrated into the crown guard, creating a clean, cohesive silhouette. Water-resistant to 5 ATM, it performs effortlessly in every setting—from the racetrack to a gala evening.

The Victory Green dial, achieved through a PVD treatment, exudes understated sophistication. Its guilloché pattern, developed in collaboration with historic partner Metalem, recalls a double soleil motif and subtly evokes the profile of a sports car tire. A discreet tachymeter scale runs along the dial’s periphery—an elegant functional tribute to early automotive and aviation pioneers—allowing the measurement of average speed over one kilometer.

At the heart of the watch beats the SXH3 high-frequency integrated chronograph movement, developed with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. Operating at 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour), it delivers precision to 1/10th of a second, certified by COSC.

Visible through the sapphire caseback, the sandblasted, anthracite-treated bridges with hand-beveled edges reveal refined finishing, while a 22-carat rose gold oscillating weight, skeletonized for visual impact, completes the mechanical ballet. The power reserve extends to nearly 65 hours.

Founded in 1845 by François Czapek, Czapek & Cie was reborn in 2015 with a clear vision: to honor tradition through contemporary design and technical excellence. The Faubourg de Cracovie “Crossroads” Victory Green chronograph perfectly embodies this philosophy, merging historic watchmaking artistry with a modern sport-chic expression.

Owners of this limited edition may choose between a hand-stitched calfskin leather strap or an Alcantara option, both fitted with a deployant clasp. Priced at CHF 32,000, the chronograph is available through official Czapek & Cie boutiques, selected retailers, and the brand’s official online channel.
