HAJIME ASAOKA - new masterpiece
Hajime Asaoka is an independent Japanese watchmaker with over 10 years experience in the design of various components of precise clocks...
His watches which he hand-assembles and creates from the beginning to the end are the works of art, which perfectly denote his superb skills. After launching its first tourbillion in 2011, he now returns to the global stage of refined watchmaking by presenting us with his intriguing new creation: Hajime Asaoka Tourbillion T Project.
This new watch was made in collaboration with two other companies: OSG Corporation, which creates tools for precise cutting, and Yuki, that creates equipment for precision machining preparation. Both companies have shared their expertise with the watchmaker in order to create sophisticated objects, which have already attracted a lot of attention.
Many parts of this watch are very small, so it is easy to notice the delicacy and precision in workmanship. Mechanism that is built into this watch has a power reserve of 40 hours, the frequency of 18,000 bph and tourbillion that is made entirely of titanium. The case has a diameter of 43 mm, while the face of the clock is covered with DLC coating, which gives it a shiny and industrial look. This is further enhanced and emphasized with art deco embellishments, which are evident in the indices of hours and hands.
The price of this precious clock is about $ 80,000, or 8,000,000 yen.
