World time function works exactly as you'd expect it to work - there is a button at the position for eight o’clock, which moves the pointer over the disk on which is inscribed 24 hours, which allows the holder of the watch to know the time at any place shown on the cities disk. Display of day and night, on the other hand, is a bit more peculiar. It consists of two sapphire disk, which are lined up to represent day or night in a particular part of the world, in accordance with the time passing. This is quite an interesting visual effect, as you can see in the pictures.
Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum edition has a case with a diameter of 41 mm and is available in versions made of steel or rose gold. The steel version costs about 5000 EUR, while the version of rose gold costs considerably more - 14.000 Euros.
