Italian brand Abimis enters 2026 in the spirit of quiet luxury, unveiling kitchens personalized in Cloud Dancer, the official Pantone Color of the Year 2026.

This subtle, sophisticated shade of white radiates silence, balance, and a sense of inner peace—serving as both an aesthetic and cultural counterpoint to contemporary visual overload and the fast-paced rhythm of modern design.

This gentle white hue reinterprets the DNA of Abimis, a brand renowned for stainless steel kitchens inspired by professional gastronomy yet tailored for contemporary living. The Cloud Dancer shade is available on steel surfaces as well as in both glossy and matte lacquered finishes, crafted using techniques borrowed from the automotive industry—ensuring flawless surfaces and long-lasting performance without compromise.

Ego and Atelier: Two Aesthetics, One Philosophy

The Pantone shade Cloud Dancer enhances two of the brand’s key design families. Ego, designed by Alberto Torsello, features soft, rounded lines as a homage to 1950s aesthetics, while Atelier embraces stricter geometry and architectural clarity. In both cases, white functions as a visual equilibrium—highlighting proportions, softening volumes, and allowing materials to fully express themselves.

Abimis kitchens are entirely bespoke, designed according to the specific spatial requirements and lifestyle habits of each client. Modules, configurations, and integrated professional accessories can be freely customized, transforming the kitchen into a truly personalized workspace and living environment.

A Mediterranean Dialogue in Naples

In an apartment overlooking the sea in Naples, designed by architect Giuliano Andrea Del Uva, a white lacquered Ego kitchen in the Cloud Dancer shade acts as a connective element between a monochromatic interior and tall wall units in aquamarine tones—a subtle reference to the surrounding landscape. The island is enriched with the brand’s signature rounded handles and a seamless stainless steel countertop with a raised anti-drip edge. Fully equipped, the kitchen features everything from an induction cooktop with integrated extractor to a pop-up power tower and dishwasher, while behind the doors lie spacious drawers and curved storage compartments.

Sartorial Precision in Essen

Another example of exceptional craftsmanship can be found in a private residence in Essen, where a white lacquered Ego kitchen combines stainless steel operational blocks with tall units that are hand-finished using orbital polishing. The island’s ergonomics have been carefully studied in relation to user movement, with the prep surface concentrated on one side and the cooking elements—gas, induction, and grill—placed on the other. The kitchen also includes a professional food warmer, confirming its high-performance nature even within a private setting.

Atelier as an Extension of the Living Area

The Atelier line comes to life in a private home in Lugano, where the kitchen is conceived as a natural extension of the living space. An L-shaped layout, a three-meter-long island, double sink, Teppan Yaki grill, and a professional ceiling-mounted hood define a space filled with natural light. Wall units housing built-in ovens, pantries, and additional work surfaces are finished in glossy white lacquer, contrasted by stainless steel handles. All materials guarantee easy maintenance, hygiene, and safe food contact, regardless of finish.

A similar concept is applied in a project near Treviso, where the Atelier island features a side panel facing the living room, hand orbital-polished and enhanced with a custom mirror-finish profiling created at the client’s request. The result is a kitchen that dissolves the boundary between functionality and aesthetics.

Founded in 2013, Abimis has built its identity around AISI 304 stainless steel—the material of professional gastronomy—reinterpreted through a refined and elegant aesthetic code. Hand craftsmanship, precise detailing, and luxurious finishes form the foundation of a brand now present across all major global markets, from the United States and the Middle East to Europe and the Far East.

With the Cloud Dancer shade, Abimis does not merely follow a color trend—it clearly articulates contemporary luxury as a space of silence, balance, and considered beauty.
