The UP coffee table was designed by Christopher Duffy for Duffy London and is guaranteed to add a bit of “crazy” to conventional modern interiors. Built from toughened Glass, metal resin composite and toughened steel rods, the table is not just pretty and frisky, but also strong and durable.
Here is more from the designer: “Working with the illusion of levitation, flotation and buoyancy, the UP coffee table is a playful trompe l’oeil, giving the impression that a piece of glass is being suspended by small helium balloons. This table is a limited edition of twenty, hand made by the finest artisan craftsmen in the UK, designed without compromise to manufacturing processes, and extremely time consuming to create, hence they are a teensy-weensy bit expensive“. The unusual table is available in a variety of bespoke finishes and sizes.
