Lamborghini presents Invencible and Autentica - a pair of unique supercars that mark the end of an era, i.e. the retirement of the brand's purist V12 engine...

Just when we thought that the pair of Aventador Ultimae versions was the last time we'd see a V12 engine in a Lamborghini car, the famous Italian brand went one step further and proved us wrong by introducing two new uniques – the Invincible coupe and the Autentica roadster, two ultra-exclusive immaculate creations, which have been designed as the perfect way to say a final farewell to the iconic V12 engine, in its purest form. What is particularly interesting is the fact that Lamborghini decided to unveil their unique supercars just a few weeks before the official debut of the replacement for the Aventador model, which will mark the beginning of their hybrid era. As you can see in the photos, the pair of unique supercars have been given some really aggressive design details, true to the Lamborghini design language.

As you might have guessed, both models are built on the Aventador platform that debuted 12 years ago. The Lamborghini brand says that the styling of both versions is inspired by limited edition models such as the Sesto Elemento, Reventon and Veneno, while both cars also receive the famous hexagon theme, with angular shapes marking their presence in various places, including the junction of the headlights and exhaust branches. The Invencible model received a coupe-style chassis finished in a red colour called Rosso Efesto, which was further emphasized by carbon accents. It is equipped with a massive rear wing that is hung on swan-style brackets with hexagon-shaped openings.

Autentica, on the other hand, presents a roadster model dressed in a grey shade called Grigio Titans, which as a contrast received stripped yellow accents. Instead of a large wing, the roadster received a new fin at the rear, with a relatively less aggressive spoiler. Both bespoke supercars are powered by the most powerful version of the brand's desirable 6.5 litre V12 engine, which can also be seen in the Ultimae models. Without any additions or assists, the V12 is capable of generating 769 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. Lamborghini chose not to reveal performance figures, or anything related to price. Still, considering that the starting price of the Ultimae model was around $500,000, we wouldn't be surprised if the Autentica and Invencible cost $1.5 million each.
