According to some official expectations, the Lamborghini Lanzador won't hit the roads until 2028, but this popular electric car is already cruising the digital world...

The Italian brand has just launched a new virtual experience on the Roblox platform, allowing car enthusiasts to explore this grand tourer in a "German way." "This collaboration is proof of our commitment to attract a new generation of fans and showcase our brand leadership in both the digital and physical worlds," said Christian Mastro, Lamborghini's marketing director, in a statement.

For those unfamiliar, Roblox is an online gaming platform that enables users to create games or play games made by others. The Lamborghini Lanzador Lab allows players to explore the new model almost half a decade before its official release. In an impressive 3D experience, you can design and customize your digital Lanzador using the Lamborghini Ad Personam customization program, then compete in virtual time races. You can also explore a virtual replica of the Lamborghini museum to learn more about the manufacturer.

Additionally, players can purchase digital items for their online avatars, including racing helmets, backpacks, caps, and hats. Three limited-edition Lamborghini Bull Heads are also available for 1.5 million Robux each (about $6,000 at the current exchange rate). Three individuals who purchase Bull Heads will be invited to Lamborghini's headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. The VIP experience will include a tour of the Lamborghini museum, Ad Personam studio, and factory floors. These three individuals will also have the opportunity to see the physical concept of the Lanzador car in person and learn more about its features.

Presented as an "ultra GT," the Lanzador is an elegant grand tourer. A four-seater car, it is said to deliver supercar performance along with the everyday practicality of the Urus. The drivetrain will consist of two electric motors, one on each axle. This configuration not only provides all-wheel drive in all conditions but also an impressive maximum power of over one megawatt (about 1,340 horsepower). The high-performance battery is said to provide "long-range" autonomy, although it is not clear how many miles that autonomy entails. Of course, if you're driving in the metaverse, your autonomy is unlimited.
