Pagani has once again redefined the limits of what’s possible in the hypercar world…

The Italian marque’s latest masterpiece, the Huayra Codalunga Speedster, merges 1960s racing aesthetics with extreme contemporary engineering. This is not merely a car — it’s a moving work of art, an homage to the golden era of motorsport, infused with performance that challenges the boundaries of physics.

Inspired by legendary longtail race cars like the Ferrari 330 P4 and Porsche 908/01 LH, the Codalunga Speedster stretches to 193.3 inches (nearly 4.9 meters) — over 11 inches longer than the standard Huayra. Its flowing lines slice through the air even when at rest, creating an aerodynamic silhouette of exceptional purity. A removable hardtop with a wide glass panel blends seamlessly into the bodywork, giving the impression of an unbroken, sculptural form.

Beneath the rear clamshell lies Pagani’s crown jewel: a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine developed in partnership with Mercedes-AMG, delivering 852 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque at just 2,800 rpm. This pairing of raw power and refined elasticity makes the Speedster as capable on winding backroads as it is commanding on the track.

In an era where manual transmissions are nearing extinction, Pagani dares to offer a choice: a 7-speed automated gearbox or a classic 3-pedal manual with a visible gear linkage and a handcrafted mahogany wood shifter knob — a tribute to mechanical artistry long forgotten in modern cars.

One of the Codalunga’s most striking features is its six-pipe exhaust system. While Pagani’s iconic central quad exhaust remains, it is now flanked by two additional pipes on either side of the rear, creating a visual and auditory spectacle — a titanium symphony for true automotive hedonists.

Inside, the Speedster is a testament to Pagani’s obsession with craftsmanship. Over 450,000 individual stitches adorn the leather upholstery, while wood and aluminum accents grace the steering wheel and gear lever. Every detail is hand-finished, with the finesse of a luxury yacht.

Only 10 units of the Huayra Codalunga Speedster will ever be produced, with deliveries starting in 2026. While pricing has not been officially disclosed, reports suggest figures exceeding $7 million, placing this model among the rarest and most expensive cars in existence.

For those lucky enough to own it, the Codalunga Speedster will not simply be a car — it will be an emotional and technical masterpiece, the ultimate expression of automotive passion.
