For its tenth anniversary, Czapek & Cie enters a new era of watchmaking artistry with the launch of the Time Jumper — a timepiece that fuses past and future, the spirituality of craftsmanship and the boldness of visionary design.
Powered by the all-new, in-house-developed Calibre 10, the Time Jumper proves that a strong heritage can serve as a springboard for true avant-garde expression. The model is both homage and reinterpretation — inspired by the pocket watches crafted by François Czapek in the 19th century, yet shaped through a retro-futuristic aesthetic. Its 40.5 mm stainless steel case, fitted with a half-hunter cover, establishes a dialogue between concealed time display and open mechanical architecture. Beneath the sapphire crystal lies a three-dimensional guilloché motif that creates a hypnotic visual vortex — a kind of “black hole” drawing the eye into the depth of the movement.
CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel describes the Time Jumper as “a fresh approach to time display,” as it abandons traditional hands and introduces a patented jumping-hour complication implemented through two sapphire disks, while the minutes are tracked on a peripheral ring. The result is an elegant and entirely new way of communicating with time.
The new Calibre 10 is engineered as a movement of the future: compact, adaptable, and designed to incorporate a range of complications in the coming years. With 275 components, 44 jewels, a frequency of 4 Hz, and a 60-hour power reserve, this automatic movement demonstrates technical precision and the mechanical maturity of the manufacture. A skeletonized 950-platinum rotor offers an unobstructed view of the bridges, wheels, and jewels, while the rhodium-finished elements and black-coated plates create a depth that evokes a cosmic landscape.
Aesthetically, the Time Jumper is envisioned as a “flying saucer for the wrist” — aerodynamic, rounded, and completely devoid of sharp edges. The oval opening button, rounded crown, and smooth lug transitions emphasize the sculptural purity of the form. The caseback is adorned with an exclusive guilloché signature by Metalem, featuring a swirling motif that reinterprets the Singularité pattern from the Antarctique Tourbillon. Even the presentation box is conceived as a miniature flying saucer, crafted in sandblasted aluminum with polished accents.
The model is available in two highly limited editions:
— 100 pieces in stainless steel, priced at CHF 42,000
— 30 pieces in 3N 18-karat gold, priced at CHF 64,000
Additionally, the manufacture offers 10 fully personalized pieces for collectors seeking a one-of-a-kind version, reinforcing Czapek & Cie’s commitment to exceptional craftsmanship.
The Time Jumper made its debut on 12 November 2025 during the brand’s 10-year anniversary celebration in Geneva, and will be available at the Czapek boutique in Geneva, through select retailers, and at Czapek.com.
This watch is not merely a jubilee marker — it is a preview of the future.
