Embracing challenges, pushing boundaries, and experiencing the thrill of conquering the open sea, the modern heroes of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli embody the core values of Panerai.

With a heritage deeply rooted in underwater exploration, Panerai continues to craft precise tools through research, innovative materials, and advanced technology, supporting the aspirations of the sailing team in their pursuit of excellence. As the official sponsor of the Italian Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team, Panerai introduces new timepieces to the Luna Rossa collection, drawing inspiration from the technical innovation and majestic beauty of the yachting world. These timepieces, designed with diverse appeal for all genders, encapsulate the sporting spirit in a lifestyle context.

The expansion of the Luminor and Luminor Due collections introduces new Luna Rossa timepieces, symbolizing the shared legacy of Panerai and the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team. Max Sirena, the team director and skipper, expresses his honor in Panerai finding inspiration from their profound connection with the sea. These watches, with their distinctive design and cutting-edge functionality, serve as indispensable companions on their journey towards success in the 37th America's Cup.

Blue, reminiscent of the sea, and red, the official color of Luna Rossa, define the color codes of the collection. The Luminor Luna Rossa Quaranta PAM01408 features a sleek black 40mm Steel DLC (diamond-like carbon) case and a blue sun-brushed dial with a date display at 3 o'clock and small seconds at 9 o'clock. Equipped with the automatic P.900 calibre offering a three-day power reserve, this versatile timepiece is suitable for any occasion.

For the avid traveler, the Luminor Luna Rossa Quaranta BiTempo PAM01404 presents an automatic P.900/GMT calibre with a three-day power reserve. Displaying two time zones, the GMT hand is adorned in red as an homage to Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team's boat sail. Set in a 40mm steel case with a blue sun-brushed dial, this watch combines functionality and style.

To provide a sailing adventure experience, Panerai introduces the Luminor Luna Rossa Chrono Carbotech PAM01519, an exclusive edition. Purchasers of this timepiece gain access to a specially curated immersion experience in Cagliari, where they can participate in various activities and workshops connected to sailing and the sea. Encased in a 44mm Carbotech case with a blue sun-brushed dial, this watch develops a unique patina over time, adding character to the wearer's surroundings.

The Carbotech structure enhances both aesthetics and performance by compressing thin sheets of carbon fibers with a high-end polymer, PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone), under controlled temperature and pressure. This binding process makes the material stronger and more durable. As a nod to the sailing experience, the Luminor Luna Rossa Chrono also features a Speed Tachymeter Scale to measure the average speed of a yacht over a defined distance.

The special Experience edition, limited to 37 pieces, celebrates the 37th edition of the America's Cup in 2024. In addition to the watch, purchasers will receive an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) containing exclusive information supporting their experience, including a training card, technical details about the watch, a warranty booklet, and an artwork created by the Panerai Studio.

All three models feature a bi-material strap with the iconic 'Luna Rossa' logo. The PAM01408 and PAM01404 are equipped with the PAM Click Release System, allowing for easy strap interchangeability to suit different styles and moods. These timepieces are exclusively available in Panerai boutiques.

Expanding the Luminor Due collection, Panerai introduces two references: PAM01378 and PAM01381. PAM01378 features a polished 38mm steel case paired with a white Saffiano leather strap adorned with the team's name and red stripe logo. On the other hand, PAM01381 presents a polished 42mm steel case complemented by a grey bi-material strap.

Both timepieces feature matte white sandwich dials with the Panerai logo inscribed Luna Rossa. The numerals and indices are coated with dark gray Super-LumiNova® for optimal legibility. The small seconds display showcases red hands, paying tribute to the team's official color. With the automatic P.900 calibre and a three-day power reserve, the straps of these watches can be interchanged with others from Panerai's strap collections. These boutique-exclusive timepieces embody Panerai's commitment to innovation and passion for aquatic exploration.

Panerai, established in Florence in 1860, started as a workshop, store, and school of watchmaking. The brand supplied precision instruments to the Italian Navy and diving corps for many years. The designs developed during this time, including the iconic Luminor and Radiomir, were kept under the Military Secrets Act and launched on the international market after Panerai became part of the Richemont Group in 1997. Today, Panerai creates its movements and watches at its Neuchâtel manufacture, combining Italian design and history with Swiss horological expertise. Panerai timepieces are sold worldwide through an exclusive network of distributors and Panerai boutiques.
