CARTIER BALLON BLEU

House of Cartier has a new beautiful watch with a blue enameled dial named, Ballon Bleu Flying Tourbillon.

Cartier has used flinqué style enameling on the dial, where the enamel color is deposited on a gold or silver previously guilloched or hand engraved dial using a quill pen or a brush. The process repeated at least 4 times, each with time spend in an oven at 820 degrees. A difficult and time consuming process but worth every effort.

The Cartier manufacture caliber 9452 manual winding movement comes housed in a 39 mm white god case. The movement beats at 21,600 vph and provides a power reserve of 50 hours. When looking closer you’ll notice the famous “C” of the Cartier displayed prominently on the tourbillon carriage and the baseplate of the movement. Also noticeable are the understated short lugs as a design feature. The movement come with the Geneva seal stamped to it.

Its hands sword-shaped, are made of steel. The watch features a characteristic Cartier crown set with a blue sapphire cabochon. Limited to just 100 numbered pieces, the Ballon Bleu Flying Tourbillon comes with a dark blue alligator leather strap matching the dial.
