Jay Z teamed up with Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot to launch the Shawn Carter Fusion Collection.
The Shawn Carter watch, by Hublot Classic Fusion, will have the SC logo cut into the dial, front and center, and will be apparently available in two versions. The watch will be produced in a very limited run, and it will come in either black ceramic or 18k gold, with a custom 45mm dial and Hublot’s HUB1300 hand-wound movement with a 90 hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the special logo on the front, plus a viewing window on the back.
Only 350 units of this beautiful timepiece will be produced, 250 ceramic, priced at a whopping $17,900 each, and 100 yellow gold pieces, priced at a staggering $33,900. The watch will be launched at Barney’s New York on November 30th along with his new style collection, A New York Holiday.
