Inspired by Warhol’s iconic Polaroid collage self-portraits, the timepiece translates his visual language into a composition of stone, gold and mechanical artistry — a testament to Piaget’s dedication to transforming artistic vision into horological mastery.
Crafted in 18-karat yellow gold, the 45 mm case frames a dial created using the centuries-old technique of stone marquetry. Black onyx, yellow Namibian serpentine, pink opal and green chrysoprase are cut, inlaid and seamlessly assembled into an abstract mosaic echoing Warhol’s creative freedom. The result is a watch that does more than tell time — it becomes wearable art.
The model deepens the historic connection between Piaget and Andy Warhol, a devoted collector of the Maison’s creations, including the famed 1973 cushion-shaped watch. Their official collaboration, initiated in 2024 with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, finds its first major horological expression in this limited release.
Guided by Warhol’s principle of “suggest, rather than show,” Piaget’s artisans spent months studying the artist’s archives, selecting tones, rhythms and shapes capable of distilling his spirit into a subtle yet unmistakable tribute. A green leather strap complements the vivid marquetry dial without disrupting its visual flow, while beneath it beats Piaget’s in-house automatic movement — a reminder that even in its most artistic expressions, the Maison remains anchored in mechanical excellence.
