Zenith launches a new Defy 21 Spectrum collection

Two new programs from the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Zenith suggest that the best way to progress is to respect the past.

With its new Defy 21 Spectrum watches, the brand is committed to an innovative approach to the return of brightly colored watches, just in time for summer. And while some watches on offer look like sweets, the entire collection is inspired by natural shades of different wavelengths of light, hence the name of the collection - Spectrum. Each of the five brightly colored watches in this collection will feature an El Primero 21 mechanism, which operates at a frequency of 50 Hz. The 44 mm diameter models are limited to ten pieces per color, and will also have stainless steel cases decorated with white diamonds.

If that's not enough for you, the base of each model will be decorated with 44 gemstones, which are selected to perfectly match the brightly colored components of the mechanism and rubber straps - green tsavorites for green edition, amethyst for purple model, black spinel for black edition and amazing orange and blue sapphires decorate the blue and orange edition.

In keeping with this advanced thinking, the watchmaker has also turned to its past achievements and reviving sales of its sought-after models. Through its new Zenith Icons program, the company will find, verify, restore and sell these models, exclusively in its boutiques.

By the way, Zenith is not the only Swiss brand that is launching a certified pre-owned program, and we believe that it will not be the last. If you’re looking for fantastic vintage models, know that the Defy 21 Spectrum series can be purchased exclusively at Zenith boutiques for $ 35,900.
